A Note From The Designer: Dec 27th, 2015
Hello friends! I hope everyone is having a very happy holiday season! I am so thankful to have spent some time with my family this past week, but I am definitely looking forward to being at work tomorrow! ( My schedule is allll out of whack. also I've lost track of the days. Someone send help.)
It was a wonderful and very successful holiday season for GARB. Thank you so much to everyone who ordered pieces for themselves or loved ones! We did a few events in the community this month that were a ton of fun. The first was at Ro Sham Beaux and the second took place at Butcher and Bee. I was thrilled to meet so many incredible Charleston creatives that I will *hopefully* be collaborating with in the future!
Did you receive some GARB for the holidays? Tag us in your photos or send them to email@example.com. All suggestions and questions are welcome! Also, remember to follow along with daily updates from Instagram at @garb_designs!
In addition, I have some exciting professional news! I will be studying for the upcoming ASBOG exam in my journey as a Professional Geologist in South Carolina. It takes several years to gain this certification and the initial exam is no joke, so starting in January I will be ultra-focused on studying throughout each week until March.
I will continue to take custom orders however, so if you have an idea, please feel free to send it to me (I will need a creative outlet during this time for sure!) I'm still working in the environmental sector in Summerville with a wonderful company and will continue doing so as I gain this important professional certification! Thank you all so much for your support of my geology career!
Best wishes to you all in the New Year, and I hope to hear from some of you soon!
